The North Carolina Dental Gazette is the triannual hardcopy magazine of the NC Dental Society, distributed to dentists, dental team members and industry partners. It informs readers about topics of interest, provides value related to the profession of dentistry and helps members achieve successful careers.

With exposure to one of the largest audiences of North Carolina dentists and their teams, the Gazette offers an effective avenue for sharing your product and service with key audiences and stakeholders. New advertising packages enable you to reach your target audience in a meaningful, comprehensive way.

Editorial Contributions

In addition to articles and updates provided by the Tripartite (ADA, NC Dental Society, District Dental Societies), NCDS subsidiaries, NC State Board of Dental Examiners, NC Oral Health Section and dental schools in our state, both member dentists and advertisers are invited to contribute educational articles related to the profession and practice of dentistry. Articles ranging from 500-600 words about innovative programs and practice successes are encouraged. Accompanying photographs are appreciated and should be in JPEG, TIFF, PNG or PDF format with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI to ensure print quality. Note: we will not publish articles that read like an advertorial, promoting a specific business, service or product. 

Editorial Policy

Please send your advertising/editorial submissions to gazette@ncdental.org by the following deadlines:

• Spring Issue – February 5, 2024
• Late summer Issue – June 10, 2024
• Winter Issue – October 7, 2024 

Pricing

NC Dental Society Members – As a member benefit, NC Dental Society members may place up to four ads at a time, each containing 150 words or less, on our website at no cost. Changes to advertisements may incur additional costs.

Non-members – Online classifieds containing 150 words or less may be purchased ​for $150 per month. Payment by credit card must be made at the time of submission. Changes to advertisements will incur additional costs.

Public Service Announcements – Educational PSAs, specifically related to dentistry and especially focused on under-served communities and/or access to care, can be posted for four weeks at no charge. ​The contributing company/organization ​must be recognized as an accredited CE provider through the ADA and/or NC State Board of Dental Examiners. 

The Fine Print

• All classified ads must be dental related.
• Members must login with their credentials to post to our Online Classifieds.
• Members may not share or allow an outside firm to use their ADA number or login information in order to place a classified ad.
• The NC Dental Society does not assume any responsibility for omissions, prior sale, change of conditions, position being filled or practice being sold without notice, and to any special conditions imposed by users.
• The NC Dental Society reserves the right to edit ad copy, and to accept, delete or withdraw ads at its discretion.
